SDL PLC ("the Company") was advised that:

· David Clayton, Chairman of the Company, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares at 503p on 2 August 2017. As a result of this transaction his beneficial holdings in the Company are 133,950 shares representing 0.16% of the issued share capital.

· Glenn Collinson, Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 10,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 504.61p per share on 2 August 2017. As a result of this transaction his beneficial holdings in the Company are 22,000 shares representing 0.03% of the issued share capital.

· Adolfo Hernandez, CEO of the Company, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares at 496.375p on 2 August 2017. As a result of this transaction his beneficial holdings in the Company are 120,000 shares representing 0.15% of the issued share capital.

· Xenia Walters, Interim CFO of the Company, purchased 10,490 ordinary shares at an average price of 504.17p on 2 August 2017. As a result of this transaction her beneficial holdings in the Company are 10,490 shares representing 0.01% of the issued share capital.
