("SDI" or "the Company")

Issue of Equity

Under the terms of the share purchase agreements dated 16 October 2008 and as set out in the AIM Admission Document dated 2 December 2009, the sellers of Artemis CCD Limited ("Artemis") and Perseu Comercio De Equipamento Para Informatica E Astronomia S.A. ("Perseu") are today entitled to receive the first tranches of the consideration shares. This means that the sellers of Artemis and Perseu will each receive 666,500 Ordinary Shares of 1p ('Ordinary Shares') in the Company. Application has been made for the admission of 1,333,000 Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM, and dealings are expected to commence on 21 October 2009.

As a result of the issue of these consideration shares, Mr and Mrs Chambers now hold 666,500 shares, representing 3.7% of the Company's issued share capital and Mr and Mrs Rui Tripa now hold 666,500 shares, representing 3.7% of the Company's issued share capital.

After the issue of these new ordinary shares, the Company's total issued capital with voting rights will be 18,015,842 Ordinary Shares.
