Board Changes

SDI Group plc, the AIM quoted group focused on the design and manufacture of scientific and technology products for use in digital imaging and sensing and control applications, is pleased to announce the forthcoming appointment of Ami Sharma as successor to CFO Jon Abell. Ami will join the Board as Chief Financial Officer on 8 August 2022. As previously announced in January 2022, Jon Abell is due to retire in the summer and will assist in an orderly handover until the end of September 2022.

Ami was previously CFO at FTSE 250 listed Ultra Electronics Holdings plc, and Finance Director at Gibbs & Dandy plc. He has held senior finance roles at Senior plc, Saint Gobain Building Distribution and was previously an audit manager with KPMG. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Ami's commercial experience includes international manufacturing, aerospace and defence.

The Company also announces that Isabel Napper, Non-Executive Director, is stepping down from the board effective 8 August 2022. The recruitment of a new independent Non-Executive Director is well advanced and the Company look forward to making an announcement in due course.
