Director Shareholdings

Surface Transforms plc (AIM: SCE) announces that on 19 October 2011, the Company received notification of the following transactions by Professor David Clark (former non-executive director of the Company), and Richard Gledhill and Kevin D'Silva (both existing non-executive directors of the Company):

o Professor David Clark, following the disposal on 19 October 2011 of 150,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 8.4p per share, is now interested in 829,661 ordinary shares which equates to 2.6 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.

o Richard Gledhill, following the purchase on 18 October 2011 of 92,500 Ordinary Shares at 8.6p per share, is now interested in 7,164,723 ordinary shares which equates to 22.5 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.

o Kevin D'Silva, following the purchase on 19 October 2011 of 57,500 Ordinary Shares at 9.0p per share, is now interested in 386,496 ordinary shares which equates to 1.2 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.
