Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust plc

Strategy Update

Further to the announcement released by Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust plc (the "Company") on 2 July 2025, the Board wishes to update shareholders on the Company's ongoing strategic review process.

Since that announcement, the Company has conducted an extensive shareholder consultation exercise. The consultation solicited views relating to continuing as an investment trust, a managed wind down process, whether some investors may wish to retain exposure to the mandate and/or, directly or indirectly, to the assets, and the means by which capital could be returned to shareholders.

The Board received constructive feedback from the shareholder base which covered a wide range of preferred outcomes. The Board is in the process of taking advice and carefully considering fund structures and alternatives that would seek to optimise outcomes for shareholders, including those shareholders who have expressed a preference for a return of capital or improved liquidity.

As noted previously, the Board instructed the Portfolio Manager not to make, for the duration of the consultation period, any new investments that would extend the current maturity profile of the portfolio. Meanwhile, the Company's Portfolio Manager continues to manage the portfolio in accordance with the Company's impact strategy and commitments.

The Board continues to consult with shareholders and intends to provide a further update at or before the Company's Annual General Meeting scheduled to take place in December 2025.
