J Sainsbury plc herby notifies the market that an application has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a total of 28,384,535 Ordinary shares of 284/7 each ('Shares') to be admitted to the Official List.
Admission of the Shares is expected on 27 July 2021.
The shares have been allotted and will be issued to holders of the J Sainsbury plc £250m Subordinated Perpetual Convertible Bonds who have exercised their conversion rights in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Bonds.
When issued, these Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Shares.
