The working results for the quarter ended 30th June 2006 have been arrivedat after considering provisions for NPAs, Gratuity, Pension, LeaveEncashment, Investment Depreciation, Income Tax (after adjustment for deferredtax), Wealth Tax, Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) and other contingencies on anestimated basis. 2. the effects of the revised Accounting Standard - 15 on employee benefits(which has come into effect from 1st April 2006) have not been considered,pending clarifications from Reserve Bank of India. 3. The Bank has modified the segmental pricing methodology from 01.04.2006. Consequently the Segemental Results are not comparable with the previousperiods. 4. Number of Investors Complaints received and disposed of during the quarterended 30th June 2006: (i) Pending at the beginning of the quarter 38(ii)Received during the quarter 1729 (iii) disposed of during the quarter 1652 (iv)Lying unresolved at the end of the quarter 115. 5. The figures of previous periods have been regrouped/rearranged, wherevernecessary, to correspond to current period's classification. The above results have been taken on record by the central Board of the Bank onthe 27th July 2006 and subjected to Review by Auditors. Mumbai T. S.
