Result of secondary placing of shares in Saga plc

Acromas Bid Co Limited ("Acromas"), announces that it has sold an aggregate of 145 million ordinary shares of Saga plc ("Saga", or the "Company"), representing approximately 13 per cent. of the Company's existing issued ordinary share capital, at a price of 200 pence per share (the "Placing").

Following settlement of the Placing, which is expected to take place on 4 December 2015, Acromas will hold approximately 32 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Consistent with this, Acromas has agreed that if the Placing proceeds it will not, for a period of 60 days following the announcement of the Placing, offer, sell or otherwise transfer any shares from its remaining shareholding in Saga without the consent of BofA Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan Cazenove subject to customary exceptions.
