Treasury shares issued

Science Group plc (AIM:SAG) announces that on 28 November 2019 the Company issued 104,400 treasury shares at an average price of 223 pence per share to the Frontier Smart Technologies Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT"). This has facilitated the payment to the Company of most of the cash previously held in the EBT. The shares in the EBT will be used to satisfy employee share options issued to the Joint Managing Directors of the Frontier business.

Voting rights in respect of ordinary shares held by the EBT are waived. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) following this announcement is 41,700,440. The Company holds 361,595 shares in treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company following this announcement is 41,596,040.

The figure of 41,596,040 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
