The following notification is made in conformity with the UK Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.
As at 29th July 2016 the issued share capital of Safestore Holdings plc with voting rights is 208,609,541 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1p each. The Company does not hold any Treasury shares.
The above figure of 208,609,541 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Safestore Holding plc under the FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

· | Safestore is the UK's largest self-storage group with 119 stores, comprising 95 wholly owned stores in the UK (including 56 in London and the South East with the remainder in key metropolitan areas such as Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Bristol) and 24 wholly owned stores in the Paris region.
