Publication of Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of Results

The Company is pleased to announce that its audited Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2020 (Annual Report) has been published today. The Annual Report is available on the Company's website at https://www.mcsaatchiplc.com/reports-results/2020. Printed copies of the Annual Report are being posted to shareholders who have requested hard copies.

There is no change to the group's 2020 previously announced profit. A £1.1m prior period adjustment to headline (not statutory) profit reported in the unaudited financial statements published on 30 June 2020 is now not considered to be necessary, with the result that 2019 headline profit is now the same as the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2019. This is no longer required as the events that changed the accounting occurred in 2020 rather than in the prior year. There has been a restatement in the 2020 balance sheet with current assets increasing by £1.0m and current liabilities increasing by £0.2m, resulting in an increase in net assets of £0.8m. These are referred to more fully within the Basis of Preparation section in the Annual Report.

The Company will announce its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2021 on Tuesday 21 September 2021.
