The Restaurant Group plc ('the Company')

Notification of transactions by directors, persons discharging managerial responsibilities ('PDMRs') and connected persons

On 17 March 2017 the Company made the following conditional awards of nil cost options ('Awards') under The Restaurant Group plc Long Term Incentive Plan ('LTIP'):

The Awards will, subject to performance conditions, vest three years from the date of grant. A two year, post-vesting holding period applies. The Company's employee benefit trust will hold the shares necessary to fulfil any obligation arising from the vesting of the Awards.

This notification is to satisfy the Company's obligations under 3.1.4(R)(1)(a) of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
