ATA Group Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Pendlebury as aNon-Executive Director with immediate effect. Andy brings with him a wealth of Industry experience having held a number ofsenior management positions during his long career with British Aerospace Plc.In 1992 he joined the Board of Wynnwith Engineering and was appointed ManagingDirector in 1995 establishing the business as one of the United Kingdom'sfastest growing recruitment businesses. In 2002 Andy joined GKN Plc as interimManaging Director of the company's in-house recruitment business Engage andguided it through the Board's divestment strategy. From 2004 to 2007 he has, asChief Executive, engineered a trading turnaround and subsequent sale to theMorson Group of White & Nunn Holdings. Andy is a member of the Institute ofManagement and a member of the Institute of Directors, attended ManchesterUniversity through to post graduate and studied at Cranfield Business School andLondon Business School gaining qualifications in Business Negotiation,Management Studies and Strategy formulation. Andy joins ATA Group as non-executive director with additional responsibilitiesto assist the Chairman and the Board in the strategic pursuit of Groupdevelopment objectives.
