Update on Takeover Offer for Anzon Australia Limited
by Roc Oil Company Limited
Further to Anzon Energy Limited's announcement on 7 August 2008 relating to the Replacement Bidder's Statement received by Anzon Australia Limited (AZA) from Roc Oil Company Limited (ROC) in relation to its AZA Takeover Offer, AZA has today been notified by ROC that the condition in section 10.8(b) of the Bidder's Statement relating to foreign investment approval has been satisfied. A copy of the announcement made today by ROC is available on the ASX website www.asx.com.au.
