Roc Oil Company Limited14 July 2006 14 July 2006 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE ROC'S NET EFFECTIVE OIL PRODUCTION EXCEEDS 14,000 BARRELS OF OIL PER DAY(1) During the past week ROC's net effective oil production reached ca 14,100barrels of oil per day(1), a record for the Company by a considerable margin.This performance reflects production in Mauritania and record production levelsin Australia and China. Commenting on the Company's current production, ROC's Chief Executive Officer,John Doran, stated that: "This is one of ROC's shortest Stock Exchange releases, but it is also one ofthe most significant, particularly in view of the current oil price, and thefact that five months ago ROC's oil production was negligible."
