Offer Update From Guoco Group Limited

The Board of The Rank Group Plc ("Rank") notes the announcement made by Guoco Group Limited ("Guoco Group") regarding the extension of its offer for Rank. A further announcement will be made in due course.

Tim Scoble does not, therefore, accept responsibility for the views and opinions of the Independent Directors of Rank in relation to the Offer as set out in this announcement.
