- Director Declaration

The following information is given in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14 subsequent to Bill Shannon's appointment as a non-executive director of The Rank Group Plc ("Rank") on 3 April 2006.

Rank has been notified by Bill Shannon that, with effect from 21 October 2010, he ceased to be a non-executive director of Barratt Developments plc and that, with effect from 1 November 2010, he will become a non-executive director of St Modwen Properties plc.

He continues to be chairman of Aegon UK plc and a non-executive director of Johnson Service Group Plc.

There is no further information which would require disclosure under sub paragraphs 9.6.13(2) to 9.6.13(6) of the Listing Rules.
