Proposed Partnership
Further to the announcement of the appointment of Mr. Subhi F. Benkhadra as Chief Executive Officer of EIIB, the Board of EIIB is pleased to announce that EIIB has entered into discussions with Esterad Investment Company BSC ("Esterad"), with a view to partnering with Esterad for the establishment of a Sharia'a compliant asset management business to be based in Bahrain. This is subject to approval by the Central Bank of Bahrain and the UK Financial Services Authority.
