RM confirms financial close of Salford and Wigan BSF contract
RM confirms that it has reached financial close for a contract to provide managed ICT services to schools to the Salford and Wigan BSF (Building Schools for the Future) programme. RM previously announced on 15 June that it had been appointed as selected bidder for the project as part of the Hochtief-led Transforming Learning Partnerships (TLP) consortium.
The first stage of the programme, which addresses schools in Salford, is expected to be worth up to £26m to RM over the next five years.

A key part of the initiative is to ensure that local authorities develop a sustainable area-wide ICT strategy for schools in line with the Government's personalised learning agenda: 10% of the funding is ring-fenced for ICT.
