Board Appointments

RHI Magnesita N.V. (LSE: RHIM) is pleased to announce that Fiona Paulus and Janet Ashdown have accepted their nomination to the Board as independent Non-Executive Directors. As of the beginning of December, the Company will be benefitting from their valuable expertise and experience. Janet will chair the Corporate Sustainability Committee, which Fiona will join.

Herbert Cordt, Chairman, commented, "I am delighted that Fiona and Janet will be joining the Board of Directors. They bring a broad range of banking, energy, international business and corporate sustainability experience to the Board, which will be valuable to the Group's further growth and development. These appointments demonstrate the Board's commitment to further enhancing its composition both in terms of the skills and experience available as well as ensuring a balanced and diverse structure."

Janet currently holds non-executive directorships with SIG plc, Victrex plc and Marshalls plc. There are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.

1. Fiona Paulus has over 37 years' investment banking experience, having held senior roles with a number of international investment banks based in London, Europe and Latin America. Since January 2018, Fiona has been Managing Director at Redcliffe Advice, an investing and consulting business.

2. Janet Ashdown had a distinguished career working for BP plc for over 30 years, holding a number of international positions. Until the end of 2012, Janet was Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Energy Ltd. Janet also has a wide range of board and committee experience as a non-executive director. These include the UK's Nuclear Decommissioning Authority SIG plc, Victrex plc and Marshalls plc, where she is Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
