Regent Inns PLC09 February 2005 9 February 2005 REGENT INNS PLC Board Appointments Regent Inns plc ("Regent" or "the Company") today announces the promotion ofDavid Turner, Operations Director, and Simon Kaye, Commercial Director, to themain Board with immediate effect. David TurnerDavid Turner (35) joined Regent in July 2000 as Property Director from BassLeisure Retail where he was Acquisitions and Development manager for brands suchas All Bar One and Vintage Inns. He became Operations Director of Regent inApril 2004 and has been on the Executive Board of Regent since 2001. He has noother company directorships. Simon KayeSimon Kaye (46) joined Regent as Commercial Director in December 2001 fromScottish & Newcastle Retail where he was Managing Director of its Western Pubbusiness and prior to that a Sales and Customer Services Director. He previouslyheld senior sales positions at Courage. He has been on the Executive Board ofRegent since 2001. He has no other company directorships. There are no further details to be disclosed in respect of either David Turneror Simon Kaye pursuant to paragraphs 16.4 (a) and 16.4(b) of the Listing Rules.
