Regent Inns PLC26 June 2007 26 June 2007 REGENT INNS PLC Appointment of Non-Executive Director Regent Inns plc announces the appointment of Tanith Dodge as Non-ExecutiveDirector with effect from today. Tanith has held a number of Human Resourcesroles at a senior level and she is currently Group Human Resources Director ofWH Smith Plc She has previously held HR positions at InterContinental HotelsGroup, Diageo Plc and Allied Domecq. Tanith Dodge became Group Human Resources Director of WH Smith Plc in November2003 where she is a member of the executive team led by Kate Swann, ChiefExecutive, to orchestrate the turnaround of the business. Prior to WH Smith Plc,Tanith spent three years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources andCommunications, EMEA for Intercontinental Hotels Group, where she played aninstrumental role in the acquisition, integration and restructuring of PostHouse Hotels. She was formerly HR Director Europe and Eurasia for Pillsbury,part of Diageo plc for five years. Ms Dodge has no other Company directorships and there are no further detailsrequired to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
