The Board of Reconstruction Capital II Limitedtoday announces the immediate appointment of Mr Dirk Van den Broeck asnon-executive director. Born in 1956, Dirk Ernestus Jozef Van den Broeck is an Executive Director ofPetercam, where he started his career in 1981. He has been a Partner andDirector of the firm since 1988 and Managing Director since 1994 and iscurrently responsible for real estate and project financing activities. Heregistered as an "Agent de Change" in 1989. He is a lecturer on the taxation of financial products at ULB - University inBrussels. Mr Van den Broeck received a degree in Law in 1979 and a degree in Economics in1980, both from the University of Louvain. Mr Van den Broeck is Managing Director of a number of fiduciary companies thatissue real estate certificates (securitisation). He is also on the board as anindependent director of several Belgian companies. In the cases of Peterbroeck, Van Campenhout & Co, CVA andNIBC Petercam Derivatives N.V. the voluntary liquidation was approved by theBelgian Banking Commission after all outstanding liabilities were met in full.
