Scheme Effective

Powerleague Group plc ("Powerleague" or the "Company") announces that the Court Order relating to the Scheme and the associated Capital Reduction has now been delivered to the Registrar of Companies (and such order (together with the Statement of Capital attached thereto) has been registered by the Registrar of Companies), and, accordingly, the Scheme has now become Effective in accordance with its terms.

The latest date for despatch of cheques and the crediting of CREST accounts for consideration due under the Scheme will be 11 December 2009.

Words and expressions defined in the scheme document dated 16 October 2009 shall, unless the context provides otherwise, have the same meanings in this announcement.
