Directorate Change - Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Pure Wafer plc, the provider of high quality silicon wafer reclaim services for many of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers as an integral part of their cost control programmes, is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer to the Board.

The Board is pleased to announce that Huw Martin Lewis, aged 41, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, with a commencement date of 6th May 2014, following the Board re-organisation announced on 20 March 2014.

Huw qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 with KPMG where he stayed for nine years and worked with his predecessor at Pure Wafer, Richard Howells, before leaving in 2003. Following this Huw held senior positions at Legal & General and Gyrus Group before joining GE Healthcare - Life Sciences in 2009, where he was a key member of the operational turnaround team at their UK sites. Huw has gained substantial international experience during his previous employments especially in the field of foreign exchange and group consolidation under IFRS.
