Appointment of New VP Sales & Marketing of PeerTV Limited

PeerTV plc (AIM:PTV), a provider of technology solutions for the OTT (TV over the internet) market and PCB (printed circuit board) production solutions, announces that Jim Lomax has been appointed Vice President of Sales & Marketing of its subsidiary PeerTV Limited.

Mr. Lomax has 20 years' international experience within the worldwide Consumer Electronics, Digital TV Software/Hardware and Broadband Networking Equipment sectors, including OTT.

Most recently, Mr. Lomax was Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Pace International, a unit of Pace plc (LON:PIC), with responsibility for carrying out a major restructuring. During his tenure Jim was responsible for the management, recruitment and training of Global Sales, Marketing and Pre-sales Engineering teams, with 33 employees. 24 new hardware and 3 new software projects were secured, with the largest single deal in excess of $350 million. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lomax had served 4 years at Pace Microelectronics as Head of Sales EMEA and was responsible for closing the first-ever major deal of Digital STB's with BskyB.

From 2004 to 2010 Mr. Lomax held a series of senior positions at Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB). He was recruited to develop European business and in particular the company's Italian retail strategy. Following success in the targeted region and major market share in the Italian Pay-Tv market, he became VP of Sales & Marketing EMEA and 12 months later Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. During his time with ADB the company saw constant year-on-year growth.

His experience also includes Grundig-Thomson where he was Head of Sales EMEA/APAC and Amstrad plc where he was Head of Sales UK Retail. He has also been engaged by Amino and Inview Technology on a consulting basis.
