Board Appointment
Porta Communications PLC ("Porta" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Raymond McKeeve as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Raymond John McKeeve (39) is a corporate finance partner and the global head of Berwin Leighton Paisner's private equity practice. He is widely regarded as a leading private equity specialist and advises many of the leading private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds and their investee companies. Raymond also advises some of the leading lenders into the leverage market across all areas of corporate finance, including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and equity capital markets work. Raymond's practice covers both the domestic UK market as well as overseas markets including Middle East and North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Raymond was a member in a personal capacity on the Ministry of Defence's Defence Reform Unit chaired by Lord Levene and is currently a non-executive member of the Ministry of Defence's Transformation Steering Group.
Set out below is further information in relation to Mr McKeeve, which is required to be disclosed in accordance with the AIM Rules for Companies. Save for the following information, there is no other information required to be disclosed under Schedule Two, Paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
Mr. McKeeve holds 3,250,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company (representing 4.59% of the Company's issued ordinary Share capital).
