Persimmon Plc announces that onĀ 29 AugustĀ 2008 it transferredĀ 1,139Ā Ordinary Shares held in TreasuryĀ toĀ aĀ participant in the Persimmon PlcĀ Long Term Incentive PlanĀ to satisfy the exercise ofĀ anĀ optionĀ at a price of Ā£7.465.Ā
Following this transfer the Company holdsĀ 2,516,360Ā OrdinaryĀ Shares of 10p each in Treasury and the Company's issued share capitalĀ isĀ 300,075,071Ā Ordinary Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).Ā
