Issue of equity

Further to the announcement made on 9 July 2008, Porvair announces that 1,375,224 new ordinary shares of 2p eachΒ (the "New Ordinary Shares")Β haveΒ been issued in consideration for the Group's recent acquisition of Seal Analytical Ltd. Application hasΒ beenΒ made for the New Ordinary Shares to beΒ admitted to the OfficialΒ List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.Β 

Following the admission to trading of the New Ordinary Shares, PorvairΒ willΒ haveΒ 42,073,640Β ordinary shares of 2p each in issue.
