Porvair PLC30 January 2007 For immediate release 30 January 2007 Porvair plc ("Porvair" or "the Company") Appointment of Executive Director The Board of Porvair plc ("Porvair") is pleased to announce the appointment ofDr John Sexton as an Executive Director with effect from 29 January 2007. Dr John Sexton, 55, is the Managing Director of the Porvair Filtration Group. DrSexton joined the Group with its acquisition of Filters for Industry Ltd in2001, and has since then led the Porvair Filtration Group. Prior to setting upFilters for Industry Ltd, he held a number of posts within the Faireyorganisation. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of The Institute ofMechanical Engineers. The Group confirms that there are no further matters to be disclosed pursuant tothe requirements of paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
