Directorate changes
The Company announces that David Lenigas has retired from the Board of the Company and its committees.
Donald Strang has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Company. Mr Strang has been an Executive Director of the Company since 19 September 2012 and replaces David Lenigas who has been the Company Chairman since 4 April 2012.
Mr Lenigas has agreed to advise the Board for a minimum period of twelve months through a consultancy agreement so that the Company continues to benefit from his wide experience and knowledge of the London capital markets.
Emma Priestley has been appointed to the Board of the Company as an Executive Director. She was previously an executive director of Lonrho Plc after working in investment banking for 5 years following a career as a mining engineer. She has a background in mining and financial services having worked with consultants GVA Grimley, IMC Mackay & Schnellmann, investment bank CSFB, advisers VSA Resources and, most recently, Ambrian Partners, where she worked as corporate broker and adviser. Emma is a graduate of Camborne School of Mines, is a chartered Mining Engineer and Chartered Mineral Surveyor.
