Total Voting Rights and Share Capital

Proton Power announces that for the purposes of rule 5.6 of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company's share capital consists of 61,390,863 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each. There are no shares held in treasury.

The total number of voting rights in Proton Power is 61,390,863.

The increase of 30,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each is a result of the issue of new ordinary shares relating to the placing on 28 May 2008.

The above figure of 61,390,863 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Proton Power, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
