Powerflute Oyj ("Powerflute" or the "Company"), was notified on 9 June 2015 of the following sales of shares in the Company by Dermot S Smurfit, Non-Executive Director:
· On 9 June 2015, 118,630 shares at a price of 65.0 pence per share
Following the disposal Dermot S Smurfit holds 1,695,556 shares representing 0.6 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding shares held in treasury).

The Kuopio mill is one of only three suppliers of Nordic semi-chemical fluting in Europe.
Cores and coreboard are manufactured from recycled paper and are used for applications in paper, packaging, textiles, steel, aluminium and many other industries. Coreboard and cores produced by Corenso demonstrate superior strength and rigidity and are suitable for use in the most demanding applications.
