Polar Capital Holdings plc ("Polar Capital" or the "Group")
Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs)/Persons Closely Associated (PCAs)
On 17 January 2018 Mr Tim Woolley, Non-Executive Director, exercised 227,365 share options under Polar Capital's 2007 Equity Inventive Plan (the "Plan"). Polar Capital has issued 163,720 Ordinary Shares in satisfaction of the options, all of which were then sold at a market price of 518p per Ordinary Share.
Mr Woolley no longer holds any share options under the Plan. He continues to hold shares as follows:

The Group was also notified on 17 January 2018 that Mr Brian Ashford-Russell, a Non-Executive Director of Polar Capital, sold 375,000 Ordinary Shares from his personal holding at 518.00p per share. Following this transaction Mr Ashford-Russell is interested in a total of 5,450,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 5.84% of the Group's issued share capital.
