Petropavlovsk PLC ("the Company") has been advised today by Peter Hambro Limited ("PHL"), a company associated with the Chairman of the Company, Mr. Peter Hambro, that a charge over 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Shares") belonging to PHL was executed on December 10th 2010, as security for a guarantee being given by PHL.
The holdings of Mr. Hambro and his associates in the Company remain unchanged at 10,630,768 Shares representing 5.66 % of the Company's issued share capital.
