Appointment of Andrey Maruta as Chief Financial Officer
As announced by Petropavlovsk PLC (the 'Company') on 28 March 2012 in the annual results statement for the year ended 31 December 2011, Brian Egan the Chief Financial Officer and a Director is stepping down from his role as Chief Financial Officer of the Company following the completion of the Company's Report & Accounts.

Therefore, in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.1 the Company announces that Mr Egan has resigned from his Board roles with the Company with effect from, 13 April 2012. Mr Andrey Maruta, a Director and the Finance Director - Russia has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.
