Trading Update

Penna Consulting Plc, the human resources group, released the following statement from the Chairman today.

"I am pleased to announce that both revenues and profit before taxation of Penna are continuing to grow strongly. In our Interim Results statement covering the six months to 30 September 2008 we reported that Career Transition net revenue had grown by 39% compared to the same period of the previous year. In the subsequent four months - October to January - year on year growth has significantly exceeded that rate.

I am also very pleased to note that despite challenging market conditions our other divisions have achieved year on year growth in revenue in the year to date.

As a result, the Board expects that profit before taxation for the year ending 31 March 2009 will be materially higher than current market expectations."
