Director appointment
Panmure Gordon & Co. plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Tansey to the Board as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer with effect from 24 May 2011.
Board chairman, Ed Warner, commented: "We are very pleased to have attracted to the Board and to the firm a candidate of Philip's strong complementary skills set. A qualified chartered accountant, he brings to the role extensive operational experience in multi-sector international financial services firms."

Philip Tansey, aged 52, has extensive experience leading global operations in dynamic enterprises. He joins the firm from BGC Partners Inc where he was Chief Control Officer. Before joining BGC, he was a director within Deutsche Bank's Office of Internal Controls. His career has also spanned Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was Chief Operating Officer of the bank's fixed income and derivatives product control group.
He is currently a director of Babybreak & Toddlerbreak Limited, a dormant company. Save as set out above, there is no further information to be disclosed under the AIM Rules.
