The Company announces that on 28 May 2009, it has granted options to Directors and employees over a total of 199,000 Ordinary shares of 5 pence each. The following Directors of the Company were granted options as detailed below.

The options are subject to the achievement of performance criteria as determined by the Remuneration Committee, and as required under the rules of the Company's Share Option Scheme. The options granted on the 28 May 2009 are normally only exercisable if the average of the pre-tax, pre-exceptional earnings per share of the Group for the three years ending 31st December 2011 exceed 16.06p being 113% of the pre-tax, pre-exceptional earnings per share figure for the year ended 31st December 2008.
