Result of General Meeting
The Company is pleased to announce that all resolutions put before members at its General Meeting held earlier today were duly passed.
As a result, the 14,222,006 new ordinary shares, which are being issued pursuant to a placing to raise £2.1m (before expenses), will be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission") at 8.00a.m. on 15 March 2010.
Following Admission, the Company will have 45,654,109 ordinary shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
At the General Meeting Martin Robinson, Chairman of the Company, made the following comment:
"We are pleased to have completed this fundraising which, the board of Plant Impact believes, gives the Company sufficient capital to execute its current business plan. Plant Impact's management team looks forward to updating shareholders on the Company's progress in the coming months."
