Interim Management Statement

Trading remains in line with expectations

Photo-Me (PHTM.L), the instant service equipment group, is today issuing its Interim Management Statement, which covers the period from 1 November 2010 to date.

The second half of the year is traditionally the quieter half for the Group and while this is again the case, trading remains in line with management's expectations.

In the Operations division, the main feature has been a continuing strong performance by the French-based business Photomaton. In addition, the medium-term outlook for this business received a strong boost last month with the French Government finally enacting a law effectively protecting the private sector's position going forward in the provision of biometric photos.

In Sales and Servicing, the division is making headway in fulfilling the second order received for photobook machines, following the completion of the delivery to Mitsubishi. Although this got off to a slow start while production was being ramped up, this is now running at a level which should allow the Group to achieve the targeted level by year-end.

The Board continues to anticipate a strong performance in the current year and believes that the Group is well-positioned for growth over the medium-term.
