Nicholas Lyons appointed as Chairman of Phoenix Group
Following the announcement made on 3 August 2018, the Board of Phoenix Group Holdings is pleased to announce that on 31 October 2018, Nicholas Lyons received regulatory approval for his appointment as Chairman of the Phoenix Group and assumed the role from that date. As a result Henry Staunton has stepped down from the Board of Phoenix Group Holdings with effect from 31 October 2018.
No loss of office payments have been or will be paid to Mr Staunton who will receive his contractual non-executive director's fees up to 31 October 2018, being the date of his resignation from the Board.
Aside from those declarations made in the announcement dated 3 August 2018, there are no other matters requiring disclosure under section 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
