Plant Health Care appoints Dr Richard Webb as non-executive director
Resignation of John Brady and release from obligation to exercise options
The Board of Plant Health Care is pleased to announce the appointment ofRichard Webb as a non-executive director.
Dr Webb, age 54, has previously been engaged by the Group as a consultant, and was instrumental in the development of its new business strategy and its current research and development strategy.
Dr Webb is Director of StepOut Ltd, a consultancy business he founded in 1995. Prior to that, he held various posts in the former ICI, including a period managing laboratory discovery and field development programmes for its public health business. He has had particularly broad exposure to the international agrochemical industry, which he has advised across a full spectrum of activities, from research targeting to post-patent brand management.
Dr Webb has a personal holding of 10,000 shares in the Company (representing 0.01% of the current issued share capital).
Dr Christopher Richards, Chairman, commented: "Richard Webb brings many years of strategic and innovation consulting experience to the Company and will specifically reinforce the science discussions at the Board."

Resignation of John Brady and release from obligation to exercise options
Further to an announcement made on 15 July 2013, the Company confirms that Mr John Brady, whose resignation as a director is effective as of today, shall be released from his obligation to exercise his options over 975,000 ordinary shares in the Company in two tranches on 15 October 2013 and13 November 2013.
