Potential Partnership

Personal Group Holdings plc (AIM:PGH), a leading provider of employee benefits, employee related insurance products and financial services in the UK, is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent with Sage (UK) Ltd ("Sage") to enter exclusive negotiations for the development of a new product for SMEs in the UK and Irish markets.

A potential partnership with Sage would sit perfectly with Personal Group's strategy of diversifying into the SME market, although it is too early to give any certainty about the outcome of these discussions. For Sage, successful negotiations could bring Sage another step forward in supporting its core strategy of customer first and championing small businesses to help them win in their markets.

If we are successful in securing Sage as a partner, this will see us offering services for the first time in a Software-As-A-Service (SaaS), cloud base and on-demand model."
