AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting of Personal Group, to be held today at 10:00am at John Ormond House, 899 Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 3XL, Martin Bennett, Chair of the Company, will make the following statement:

"Personal Group has enjoyed continued momentum in the first quarter of 2024, benefitting from a strengthened leadership team and simplified business processes, and we continue to support the health and wellbeing of over 1.5 million UK employees through our various products and services.

"The strong performance in new insurance sales in 2023 has continued into 2024, achieving year on year growth in key sales metrics. The Benefits division has won new customers and the migration of Sage customers onto the next generation of the Hapi Employee Benefits platform is complete. As previously announced in March, the Group's Pay & Reward division secured its largest consulting contract to date with a global airline, both adding to the Group's recurring revenues and increasing profile within its sector.

"With the detailed analysis of our market undertaken earlier this year we have validated the strength of our insurance offering and benefits platform and their alignment to our existing and target markets. Now, the team are developing a comprehensive strategy to ensure we have the offerings and focus to exploit what is a considerable opportunity ahead.

"With an increasing level of recurring revenues and strong balance sheet alongside a compelling offering, developing partnerships, and a well-run and expert field sales team, we remain confident in our ability to deliver profitable growth in the current year, in line with market expectations."
