Directors/PDMR Shareholdings
The LAM Trust (the "Trust") is the holder of 9,000,000 ordinary shares of US$0.02 each in Petrofac. Certain extended family members of Ayman Asfari, Group Chief Executive, are beneficiaries of the Trust. The Company was informed today that on 16 March 2010 the children of Ayman Asfari were made beneficiaries of the Trust.
As two of the beneficiaries are minors, following this change Ayman Asfari and his connected persons now hold a potential beneficial interest in 62,782,114 Shares in the Company, representing 18.165 per cent of the total voting rights of the Company. Ayman Asfari continues to hold 12,500,000 Shares in his own name and the Lamia Trust of which he and his family are beneficiaries, continues to hold 41,282,114 Shares.
The Company's issued share capital consists of 345,629,656 Shares with voting rights. Each Share carries the right to one vote. The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
