Princess publishes Q3 report

Princess today published its interim report for the nine-month period ended 30 September 2017. The key items were:

· Princess' net asset value ("NAV") increased to EUR 10.90 per share, representing a total return of +10.1% YTD, adjusted for the first interim dividend of EUR 0.28 per share.

· Valuation developments (+14.0% YTD) were the key driver of NAV growth, while currency movements negatively impacted the NAV (-1.9% YTD). The largest contributors to Princess' NAV growth during the third quarter were the direct investments in VAT Group, Trimco, Action, Dynacast and Foncia.

· During the third quarter, Princess invested a total of EUR 21.1 million, including Partners Group's acquisitions of SPi Global and Key Retirement Group and a co-investment in STADA Arzneimittel AG. In total, Princess has invested EUR 74.2 million YTD.

· Realizations in the third quarter totaled EUR 43.7 million, including EUR 10.6 million from the trade sale of Kerneos, a EUR 6.7 million dividend from KinderCare Education and EUR 13.9 million from Princess' legacy fund portfolio. In total, Princess' portfolio has generated EUR 113.0 million of realizations YTD.

Brian Human, Chairman, comments: "Princess continued to develop positively over the first nine months of 2017 driven by successful value creation initiatives at portfolio company level which continued to generate solid revenue and EBITDA growth. The company benefitted from its mature portfolio and took advantage of the supportive market environment to realize assets and create value for shareholders."
