Princess Private Equity Holding Ltd08 April 2008 News Release Guernsey, 8 April 2008 NAV eases in light of turbulent market environment March saw the net asset value ("NAV") of the Princess Private Equity HoldingLimited ("Princess") ease by 1.4% to EUR 9.34 per share. As seen in prior monthsgeneral partners have reported increases in value overall for the partnershipsin the Princess portfolio. However, the IFRS valuation method applied byPrincess requires value adjustments to be made on underlying portfolio companiesto reflect fair market value. These adjustments had a negative impact on value,and therefore a net effect of -0.6% was recorded on the NAV. In light of theturbulent equity markets during March the listed private equity segment alsoexperienced a proportionate decrease, resulting in an additional 0.4% reductionin Princess's NAV. In addition, the strong depreciation of the US dollar, whichlost another 4.0% compared to the Euro, accounted for a further decrease in NAV. Urs Wietlisbach, Director of Princess, comments: "A small part of the Princessportfolio consists of listed companies, which are subject to the current marketturbulence. Stock markets lost significantly during March with volatilityremaining at persistently high levels and markets characterized by negativesentiment. However, as indicated by the partnerships' reported portfolioperformance, the quality of Princess's portfolio remains high. Princesscontinues to pursue a long-term investment strategy, and although we anticipatethese short-term movements overall we remain cautiously optimistic." Princess will hold a conference call on 9 April 2008 at 9.30am BST in English,and at 8.30am BST in German to update interested parties on the recentdevelopments of the Princess portfolio.
