Vislink Announces Global Strategic Relationship with C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.

Vislink plc (the "Group"), the global technology business specialising in high performance wireless communications products and services for the broadcast, defence and security markets, has entered into a Global Strategic Relationship with C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSXV:CMI) a Canadian mobile antenna manufacturer based in Ottawa. 

Vislink will promote, market, sell and support the C-COM manufactured range of iNetVu® products, which complement Vislink's Advent product range and allow expansion into new vertical markets including oil & gas; mining; police, fire & ambulance; and disaster recovery applications.

Vislink and C-COM will seek R&D co-operation, taking advantage of the attractive research and development environment in Canada, and will also investigate the sharing of development resources.

Vislink will also cross-sell its range of Advent products, including the MSAT, through C-COM's 400 strong worldwide reseller network.

Commenting on the announcement, John Hawkins, Vislink's Executive Chairman, stated "we have embarked upon an opportunity to work with C-COM to expand our satellite communication product range and to offer our customers a wider choice of satellite solutions utilising the growing need to deploy internet connectivity over these devices."

The full range of products will be showcased at IBC in September 2013.
