First Order for New Surveillance Products

Vislink plc ("The Group"), the global technology business specialising in secure communications for the News & Entertainment, Law Enforcement & Public Safety, Marine & Energy and the related Services markets, announces its first order for the new Kamelyon surveillance technology.  VISLINK Law Enforcement & Public Safety (LE&PS) has received its first order valued at US$250k for its new Kamelyon series digital video transmitters and receivers. Introduced in the 4th Quarter of 2009, Kamelyon represents a new direction in covert surveillance technology utilizing an adaptable coding and modulation architecture which allows the user to tailor the product to specific mission requirements. Known as Software Defined Surveillance, Vislink's technology is adaptable in the field to optimize video performance and transmission range. Additionally, Kamelyon's innovative technology facilitates feature enhancements without the need for hardware modifications. The Kamelyon is able to adapt to its environment today and into the future. "Kamelyon represents the first product suite designed under Vislink's Software Defined Surveillance initiative. Kamelyon puts more power into the hands of the user since our new surveillance technology may be adapted to fit the requirements of a range of operational scenarios" stated Mike Payne, Managing Director of VISLINK'S Law Enforcement and Public Safety business unit.
